Zara’s Collision Center in Springfield, Ill., is supporting the education effort of Students Against Distracted Drivers by donating billboard space to students from New Berlin High School in New Berlin, Ill.
“Not only is the message especially pertinent, but the students themselves designed the message and artwork for the board,” said Zara’s co-owner Julie Zara. “We’re honored to be able to provide a venue for them.”
The billboard features a picture of a cell phone with the message “Txt n drive u wont survive” printed on the phone’s screen.
The billboard is on Wabash Avenue in Springfield between the I-72 Wabash exit and Archer Elevator Road and has been running during February.
