PPG will introduce the Charley Hutton Ridler Color Collection at its 2013 SEMA Show booth No. 24501 in Las Vegas. The collection is a spectrum of exclusive automotive colors created by Hutton, a three-time winner of the Ridler Award and one of the custom car world’s most respected and sought-after master painters, according to the company.
The Charley Hutton Ridler Color Collection features colors from Hutton’s Ridler Award winners as well as unique formulations used on some of his other standout rides. Developed with PPG at Charley Hutton’s Color Studio in Nampa, Idaho, the collection covers 15 distinctive tones ranging from Madysen Gold and Checkered Red to Kalalau Lime and Indy Blue.
“Being able to share the incredible colors we’ve dreamed up is very exciting,” said Hutton. “These PPG colors give custom builders and painters the chance to let their ideas become realities. I hope street rod, muscle car and custom car enthusiasts take a look at what we’ve put together. These colors are hot and some amazing things can be done with them.”
