Garmat USA Offers Trip for Two to SEMA in Sharp Shooter Contest

Other prizes include leather jackets to five top finalists and custom Garmat Sharp Shooter caps to first 100 entrants.

Garmat USA has announced the return of the Garmat Sharp Shooter contest for shop owners and paint techs. This contest, which began in 2011, was designed to recognize quality paint techs and shop owners who use Garmat equipment.

"At trade shows and site visits, paint techs are always telling me how they prefer Garmat paint spraybooths, so this is their chance to tell us why," says Johan Huwaert, Garmat USA’s general manager. "This contest allows us to open channels of communication with the techs so they can give us feedback on what they would like to see in a paint booth."

The Garmat Sharp Shooter contest will run from July 18-Sept. 18, 2012. Paint techs and their managers will have the opportunity to tell their Garmat story, in either video testimonial or written statements. Judging is based on the shop owner and paint tech’s dedication to providing quality paint jobs, superior customer service, attention to safety and overall equipment knowledge. Bonus questions include an inquiry on how Garmat can improve their Garmat experience with product improvements.

The first 100 entrants will receive a custom Garmat Sharp Shooter cap. First-place prizes of two leather jackets, one for the contestant and one for the owner, will be awarded to five finalists, and the grand prize of a trip for two to Las Vegas will go to the contest winner.
