DuPont Custom Finishes to Introduce and Demonstrate New Products at SEMA Show

Attendees will be able to spray CroMax Pro waterborne paint products in a custom-built booth.

DuPont Custom Finishes has announced that it will participate in this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas Oct. 30-Nov. 2. The company will be at booth 22391 in Hot Rod Alley, Central Hall, and will have a custom-built spraybooth that will feature DuPont CroMax Pro waterborne finishes.

DuPont will introduce a line of 24 new basecoat candy CFX colors. Vehicles on display in the booth will include a ’69 Camaro built by Dale Boesch of Humphrey, Neb., which is painted with Hot Hues custom finishes, and a ’32 Ford built by Craig Naff of Woodstock, Va., which is painted in DuPont ChromaPremier. Demonstrations of new color technology will include Keyshot 3-D Vehicle Rendering and Animation software developed by Luxion and the Acquire Plus EFX spectrophotometer used for ease in reading metallic, pearl and effect colors.

CroMax Pro waterborne paint products can be sprayed by attendees in a custom-built paint booth located outside the north entrance to the Central Hall, space No. 61080, where live demonstrations will be held daily. A new IntelliMist Humidification System will be featured in the booth, which makes spraying solvent or waterborne paint coatings easy, particularly in dry, desert-like conditions, according to the company.
