NACE/CARS to Host Live Scan Tool Demos

Demos will be performed on running vehicles for the first time, courtesy of Snap-on Tools and General Motors.

This year, CARS and NACE attendees will be able to interactively participate in scan tool demos with Snap-on Tools and General Motors. The new feature to this year’s event allows demos to be performed on running vehicles – a first in collision and mechanical repair trade show history.

In addition, Snap-on Tools has offered to give away an ETHOS Plus Scan Tool to one lucky winner. All show attendees are automatically entered to win, and those attendees who visit the Scan Tools Demo area will receive an additional entry for the Scan Tool Giveaway.

Scan Tool Demos will be held on the NACE/CARS show floor, in the CARS Demo Zone, Thursday, July 31 and Friday, Aug. 1 during show hours.

“We are encouraged about the growth of our expo show floor Scan Tools Demo,” said Donny Seyfer of Seyfer Automotive in Wheat Ridge, Colo., and ASA’s chairman-elect. “Independent repairers will see and hear firsthand about the newest technologies for scan tools. Attending the demo is the best way to learn what scan tools can do for your shop and customers.”
