Spray Products Corp., a Conshohocken, Pa.-based manufacturer and distributor of aerosol and liquid products used in body shops and other applications, has taken ownership of a 270,000-square-foot facility in Medina, Ohio, near Cleveland.

The addition of the site will greatly increase Spray’s blending and filling capabilities for all types of consumer and commercial products, including paints, coatings, adhesives, lubricants and automotive products, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to continue to expand our manufacturing and distribution capabilities throughout the Midwest,” Spray Products President Bart Bastian said. “This location is a perfect complement to our main production and distribution facility in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and our distribution site in Fresno, Calif.”

Founded in 1958, Spray Products provides specialized aerosol and liquid packaging services for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small businesses, throughout all phases of production, including research and development, formulation, manufacturing, packaging and distribution.

“Over the past 60 years, Spray Products, founded by my father, has evolved to meet customers’ demands and the growth of technology,” said Bastian. “Today, we are proud to take the company to the next level through this larger, full-service addition that will enable Spray Products to significantly expand its capabilities and efficiency.”

Spray Products plans to have its distribution functions in operation by early April, with manufacturing set to start in mid-May.

The new location for Spray Products will be at the former site of Valspar subsidiary PlastiKote, also an aerosol manufacturer.
