AASP/NJ Announces First-Ever ‘NORTHEAST Exhibitor Boot Camp’ Seminar

Throughout its 35-year history, the NORTHEAST Automotive Services Show
has been a venue where repairers and exhibitors come together to better
themselves and the industry. In keeping with this trend, the Alliance of
Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) recently announced
that, in preparation for the 2012 installment of their flagship event,
the association will be offering a special “NORTHEAST Exhibitor Boot
Camp” training session on Jan. 12 to help this year’s exhibitors get the
most out of their booth investment.

NORTHEAST 2012 takes place March 9-11.

“We have always strived to offer both our attendees and our vendors the
most ‘bang for their buck,’” said AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell. “As
we began preparing for NORTHEAST 2012, we decided to help our exhibitors
maximize their experience at this year’s show.”

The course, presented by Susan Friedmann, CSP, “The Trade Show Coach,”
is happening from 12-3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Meadowlands
Exposition Center of Secaucus, N.J. Friedmann, a dynamic speaker with
more than 25 years experience training and motivating companies, is the
author of 12 books, including "Meeting and Event Planning For Dummies,"
"Riches in Niches: How to Make it BIG in a Small Market" and "The
Complete Idiot’s Guide to Target Marketing."

In the seminar, Friedmann will provide attendees with strategies to help
foster relationships with customers, reinforce leads and create an
optimal exhibiting experience.

“NORTHEAST exhibitors are busy professionals. They have no time to waste
when it comes to participating in an event like ours,” said McDowell.
“That’s why we’ve brought Susan in; to help our vendors make the most of
every single minute they are on the NORTHEAST floor. In just three
hours, we aim to give NORTHEAST 2012 exhibitors yet another benefit of
being part of our event: knowledge.”

NORTHEAST Exhibitor Boot Camp is open to both contracted and prospective
exhibitors. Registration is $25, and all companies in attendance will
receive a coupon for $25 off NORTHEAST booth furnishings. All companies
in attendance also will be entered into a drawing for a free booth (or
$1,400 off of a multiple-booth purchase). Pre-registration for this
event is required – for more information or to register, please contact
NORTHEAST Event Management at 973-667-6922 or [email protected].
