Mayhew Steel Products has introduced new high-visibility fluorescent orange- and green-handled screwdrivers to their made in the USA screwdriver product line.
The new tools’ brightly colored handles provide easy visibility to placement of the tools for quick access and use. They also help keep the tools from being misplaced. The screwdrivers, long Slotted and Phillips, are ideal for a wide array of applications and are sold as sets and individually. All are made in the USA and backed by a full lifetime warranty.
Like most of the tools in the greater made in the USA screwdriver product line, the tools feature an ergonomic acetate tri-lobular handle for maximum strength and torque transfer, ribbed necks for fingertip control and a non-slip grip, and a durable black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. All blades are manufactured using tempered high alloy steel to enhance the tools’ strength and durability. The custom heat-treat and temper process further boosts the integrity of the tools to ensure high-quality performance.
Each tip is precision CNC machined to industry specifications with tight tolerances for secure and reliable fastener engagement. They are concentric, true and straight with minimal run-out. All tools exceed ANSI, ASME and government standards (GGG, ISO). The screwdriver sets come packaged in a convenient storage tray that fits inside most tool chest drawers. The new sets are as follows:
