Mirka USA has introduced Galaxy, a new line of multi-purpose, precision grain abrasives engineered to deliver long lasting, edge-to-edge sanding efficiency.

This latest line in Mirka’s portfolio is ideal for tough applications including hard surface sanding for automotive, marine, composite and wood applications.

In addition to the ceramic self-sharpening grains, the product features a clog-resistant coating that repels dust, a film backing that delivers good mechanical strength, and superior grain adhesion that delivers longer abrasive life and faster cut.

The Galaxy product line is offered in a wide range of sheets and discs from coarse 40 grit to fine 2000 grit. The finer grits provide a scratch pattern that is remarkably easy to polish out.

Galaxy is available with Mirka’s new multifit universal hole patterns, which can be placed on any dust-free tool without the need for specific alignment, providing optimal dust extraction that channels dust away from the sanding surface.
