3M Latin America Automotive Aftermarket Division Partners with Chip Foose

3M Latin America Automotive Aftermarket Division and Foose Design are proud to announce the signing of a multiyear agreement, whereby Chip Foose, owner and chief designer of Foose Design and star of TLC’s “Overhaulin’” will represent 3M Latin America for their successful line of 3M Automotive Aftermarket products.

“I have been using the great automotive aftermarket products of 3M since I was a kid working in my Dad’s shop, and I am excited to officially be a part of the 3M family,” said Foose.

Scheduled to activate in the second quarter of 2011, the partnership, which includes tapes, abrasives, spray guns and paint finishing systems, initiates with the fast growing Automotive Aftermarket as well as hardware channels in Latin America, according to 3M. Additionally, other 3M product categories are likely to be added to the multiyear agreement.

“I have traveled to Latin and South America many times during the past few years, and I am continually impressed by the automotive passion and craftsmanship there,” Foose added.

The partnership also includes potential licensed products, in store and distributor promotions, media outreach and appearances by Foose in the region. Antonio Osuna, 3M business director for Latin America, stated, “Chip Foose has amazing recognition and credibility in Latin America.  We are excited to work with Chip and Foose Design to bring his passion and eye for design into the 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division. We are confident that great things will follow for all of us.”
