OEC Launches LinkIQ to Help Dealers Make Data-Driven Decisions on Parts

OEConnection (OEC) announced the launch of the new LinkIQ, a business intelligence solution that leverages data from a multitude of sources – including the Dealer Management System, OEM data and OEC solution data – to create an analytics tool to help drive OE-parts sales at the dealership level.

LinkIQ provides parts-procurement data via an interactive, visual dashboard, giving a parts manager quick access to holistic and customer-level performance trends, according to the company.

“LinkIQ gives parts managers and directors the ability to quickly assess what’s going on with their parts business,” said Tom Strain, director of business intelligence at OEC. “They can see what, and how frequently, their customers are purchasing; if customers are returning parts; and how their part sales staff are performing. Now, parts managers are armed with the information they need to grow their business, increase profitability and act quickly if needed.”

LinkIQ features dashboards using CollisionLink, RepairLink and DMS data.

In the CollisionLink dashboard, a parts manager can view indicators such as sales, reimbursements, conversion percentage and missed opportunities. With RepairLink, LinkIQ shows mechanical parts sales, transacting shops and their purchasing behavior, and turnaround times for parts staff. With LinkIQ’s integration with DMS providers, parts managers can easily view sales, margins and returns on parts as well as understand OEC’s impact on their sales business.

Additionally, LinkIQ features standardized and ad-hoc reporting, allowing dealers to generate insights on specific information they care about.

“Today’s parts market is extremely competitive,” Strain said. “Our new LinkIQ enables dealers to proactively take control of their business in a way they haven’t previously been able to – through the power of data.”

LinkIQ is available to dealers in the United States. To learn more about LinkIQ, visit OEConnection.com/LinkIQ.
