New ASE Team Podcasts Now Available

The ASE podcast series, “Team ASE Podcasts”, addresses electric vehicles, the tech shortage and more.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) podcast series, “Team ASE Podcasts”, has added new episodes hosted by Bogi Lateiner, Tony Molla and Carm Capriotto of Remarkable Results Radio to ASE.com/podcast.

In her latest podcast for ASE, Lateiner interviews ASE-certified senior master lead technician and ASE Education Foundation board member Jenny Kovacs. Kovacs, who works at C. Harper Ford in Vernon, Pa., discusses her career and the important solutions that the ASE Education Foundation provides to address the technician shortage.

Molla’s latest Team ASE podcast focuses on the new ASE electric vehicle (EV) certification tests and features an interview with Corey Glassman, an ASE EV consultant, who was instrumental in the development of the new ASE EV certification tests. Other new episodes from Molla feature an interview with instructor Timmy Martin of Red Oak High School in Texas regarding the value of automotive program accreditation and an interview with Lateiner who talks about her new role with ASE, the changing face of the automotive industry and ASE’s efforts to increase the number of women technicians in the workforce.

Capriotto also interviews Glassman in a new episode entitled “Navigating the Electrified Road: Understanding the Need for EV Certification”, and another new podcast features his interview with Trish Serratore, senior vice president of communications for ASE, where they discuss the new ProProctor remote ASE testing option.
