Sherwin-Williams Opens 11 New Stores

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corporation (SWAFC) has announced the opening of 11 new U.S. branches, including the opening of its landmark 200th store in the fourth quarter of 2007. These new retail locations will continue to incorporate SWAFC’s strategy to enhance the purchasing experience for its customers by including wider, more open aisles, brighter lighting and newly organized displays of coordinating products. New and renovated stores now have a consistent look and feel.

The stores will also feature a greater selection of SWAFC-branded products such as ULTRA, AWX and Planet Color in a convenient and easy-to-navigate format. Computerized technical information about color selection and application will be readily available, as will on-site technical support.

SWAFC now has 209 retail branches with the recent openings in Calumet Park (Chicago); Canton, Ohio; Champaign, Ill.; Cherry Hill, N.J.; Corpus Christi, Texas; Longwood, Fla.; Gastonia (Charlotte), N.C.; Newnan (Atlanta), Ga.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; South Bend, Ind.; and West Haven, Conn.
