Online vehicle auction company Copart, Inc., has become the latest diamond level member of the National Auto Body Council (NABC). This is the highest level of NABC corporate membership.
NABC says Copart’s commitment to recycling vehicles made the company a good fit as a contributor to the Recycled Rides program for the last two years.
“Copart has worked closely with the NAMBC and has seen firsthand how they have helped educate others about how the collision repair industry contribute to the community and to the environment,” said Copart President Jay Adair. “Copart is proud to be a diamond level sponsor of the NABC and to be a supporter of the collision repair industry, which has played such a vital role in our company’s success.”
Mary Lour Sliveira, incoming vehicle procurement manager for Recycled Rides, says Copart’s commitment will help key the program’s success in 2010.
“They are one of the largest companies in the industry processing salvage vehicles, and we know from past experience that many vehicles will be stored at their facilities by participating insurers of the Recycled Rides program,” she said. “that positioning makes it easy to move vehicles to where they need to be into the driveways of needy families. We can rest easy because we know Copart will help us in the most professional way possible.”
