University of Celette Offers Training Scholarships to SkillsUSA Participants

During the SkillsUSA Collision Repair Technology Contest, June 23-24 at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, Kan., University of Celette will be awarding Training Scholarships to the top three medalists in the High School and College/Post Secondary categories.

SkillsUSA attracts more than 15,000 people: students, teachers and business leaders.  More than 5,000 career and technical education students, all state-wide contest winners, compete in over 91 different technical, trade and leadership fields.

"University of Celette is dedicated to educating these students for future employment.  The advanced engineering and materials used in today’s vehicles require skills with current technology; computerized measuring, holding fixtures, and smart welders. As older vehicles are replaced, the training and skills will become even more critical," said Timothy Morgan, director of sales and technical operations for Celette Inc. Morgan has also served on the SkillsUSA Collision Repair Technology Committee for three years as a volunteer.

Celette would like to congratulate all the competitors at the local, state and national levels. A great deal of time and dedication is required to prepare for the competition. Special thanks also go out to the instructors, advisors, and industry supporters that organize and supervise these events.

Celette is a producer of automobile frame repair benches and measuring devices. Their equipment is specified by most European car manufacturers as well as a large number of Asian and American makes.
