Repairers Organizing Casino Night to Raise Funds for Ailing Industry Member

California repairers hosting event to help former CAA President Ron Guilliams.

A Casino Night fundraiser is slated for Friday, Aug. 13, for Ron Guilliams, former president of the California Autobody Association, who was unexpectedly hospitalized in January 2010 due to an inflamed pancreas. The event will be held at  the Industry Hills Expo Center, 16200 Temple Ave., City of Industry, Calif.

“Ron is working very hard on getting better but he has been through a lot and it is a long road to recovery. The good news is that Ron is a fighter and is making progress every day. We are asking you to assist us in raising money to help Ron’s family with his growing medical costs and other unexpected expenses,” a website set up in Ron’s honor says.

The Casino Night will also include dinner, a DJ and silent auction, with proceeds to assist Ron’s recovery. Tickets are $100 each and must be purchased by July 30. Contact Cindy Shillito for more information at [email protected] or (714) 944‐4028.
