The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota (AASP-MN) announced that its 2011 Annual Meeting & Convention will be held Thursday, March 31 and Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Holiday Inn St. Paul East. These dates reflect a change from a Friday/Saturday to a Thursday/Friday format to accommodate the preferences and schedules of AASP-MN members and their employees.
AASP-MN is once again opening up its convention agenda to programming sponsored by automotive industry suppliers. AASP-MN is looking for management and technical programs that will expand and advance the skills, knowledge and expertise of mechanical and collision shop owners and managers, service advisors and estimators and technicians. Recognizing the in-house, manufacturer and third-party training resources that industry suppliers have at their disposal, AASP-MN invites those suppliers to submit programming proposals that will further the development of the management and technical competencies needed in today’s automotive service industry.
Sponsoring a program at the AASP-MN Annual Meeting & Convention (which draws the attendance of 250300 of the state’s automotive service professionals) provides another opportunity for suppliers to further extend their support and outreach not only to their existing customers, but to other potential customers in the automotive service industry.
Program sponsors enjoy:
Pre- and post-event promotion to 2,000+ AASP-MN members and automotive businesses
Promotion via emails, faxes, event marketing brochures, AASP-MN website, press releases and on-site program materials and signage
Tabletop display during breaks (both days) and Thursday evening “happy hour”
Recognition before, during and after the event as a sponsor supporter
Access to AASP-MN members (the best in the business!) and other industry constituents
Presentation proposals will be reviewed by the AASP-MN Education and Training Committee, a group of 10 mechanical and collision shop owners/managers and other industry representatives. Selection will be determined based on the program’s quality of content, level (beginning, intermediate, advanced) of material, target audience, need/demand for the information and expertise of presenter.
