Shellie Andrews Appointed to Women’s Industry Network Board

Shellie Andrews has been appointed to fill a vacated seat on the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Board of Directors. The seat was previously held by Lillian Maimone of Marco’s Auto Body, who had to step down for business and personal reasons. Shellie will complete Lillian’s two-year term and be eligible for re-election at the completion of that term.

Shellie is currently the operations manager for Dana’s Collision Center in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Dana’s present location was opened in 1987 by Shellie’s parents, Dana and Carol Alexander. Shellie began her career at the family business mixing painting and washing cars, and her responsibilities and experience have grown along with the business. Shellie has been involved in WIN for several years, including attending all conferences as well as serving as the current Program Development Committee Co-Chair.

“I have met many wonderful women and made many new friends, thanks to my involvement with WIN. I was honored to be asked to fill the vacancy on the WIN board and join such a talented and diverse group of women. I am looking forward to contributing to the future growth of WIN,” Andrews said.

“We welcome Shellie to the Board of Directors. She has already been a great asset to the organization with her efforts on our Program Development committee, and I know she will continue to be a great asset on the board. Furthermore, her appointment increases our Canadian representation, which will help WIN identify more and better ways to reach women in Canada,” said WIN’s Board Chair Kim White.

“We also appreciate Lillian’s service to the board, but understand her desire to focus her energies on her business. She will be missed, but we know she will remain actively involved in the organization in other ways,” added White.
