BASF announced the VisionPLUS Performance Group Conference, a two-day, interactive conference for collision center owners and managers. The conference will be hosted in Chicago, Ill. at the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort on May 16 and 17. Attendees will experience candid discussions and personal insight into insurance relations from an engaging insurance executive, along with idea sharing, industry updates and lean business strategies, the company says.
“Having all five of our performance groups together for this conference is a new endeavor for BASF. Mr. Scott McKain, author of Collapse of Distinction, will conduct a workshop and help our members create distinction from the competition,” said Amjad Farah, manager of Business Development for BASF Automotive Refinish. “We are eager to offer this special opportunity to our valued collision center managers and owners when they collaborate with peers and apply the knowledge learned, they can gain improvements in sales and profitability as well as see improvement in customer loyalty.”
Further enabling customer success through knowledge sharing is vital in this International Year of Chemistry 2011. Chemistry is a key technology, and considering there will be more than 1.5 billion cars on the roads by 2020, innovation is absolutely essential in developing solutions to meet future refinishing needs.
