Mitchell Launches OEM Advisor in RepairCenter

Mitchell
International, Inc., a provider of technology, connectivity and
information solutions to the property & casualty claims and collision repair industries, today announced the release of OEM Advisor, a new
data-driven solution that fully integrates OEM repair procedures within the
body shop estimating and repair workflow. With OEM Advisor, collision repair
shops can link from the repair lines in the estimate directly to Mitchell’s
RepairCenter TechAdvisor OEM database to quickly access the step-by-step
repair information associated with the specific part or procedure.

"Adding OEM Advisor to RepairCenter, Mitchell’s
industry-leading collision repair shop management software, is a significant
addition that we’re really excited about," said Jim O’Leary, Mitchell’s vice president of repair solutions. "This enhancement reinforces our focus
on developing our auto repair software solutions to help shops improve their
workflow and efficiency at every stage of the collision repair process. We’re committed to continually integrating new tools, technologies and data into our
automotive repair shop software solutions in order to help collision repair
shops simplify and optimize their businesses."

Mitchell says that OEM Advisor allows users to navigate "intuitively" from the
estimate’s repair lines to the corresponding article within the TechAdvisor
database. In addition, estimators and body shop managers can use the solution
to create custom repair reports they can share with
their insurance partners.
