Bonny Marlin Inc., inventor of the non-hazardous "Bonny Marlin" paint gun cleaning system, has unveiled its new model BMS 1000.
Bonny Marlin’s new BMS 1000 will cost $2,990, significantly less than the original model, while still cleaning paint guns without using lacquer thinner or producing hazardous waste.
"With the introduction of the BMS 1000, shop owners will be able to acquire a non-polluting ‘green’ paint gun cleaner at a lower cost," says co-founder Chip Scuderi.
In 2003, Scuderi Auto Body won the National Pollution Prevention award for the invention of the Bonny Marlin Paint Gun Cleaning System. The Bonny Marlin system eliminates the need for lacquer thinner for paint gun cleaning, while eliminating hazardous waste generation, the company says.
