AkzoNobel’s ‘Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry’ Celebrates 10 Years

This November, AkzoNobel commemorates the 10th year of the Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry awards program. Since 1999, the company has honored 65 women who have enriched the industry with their leadership, vision and commitment to excellence. They represent all aspects of the industry, including collision repair shop owners, managers and suppliers, as well as women who hold positions with associations, government, insurance companies, publications and more. The honourees for 2008 will be introduced at a special by invitation-only program on Nov. 6 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

“Ten years ago, we set out to recognize the achievements of a special group of leaders working in a traditionally male-oriented industry,” said Tim Loden, director of marketing for AkzoNobel Car Refinishes Americas. “The program has grown from an idea to an institution.  Its success reflects the growing influence of women in the collision repair workplace.”
