The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announced it will host two free Service Information Workshops in Nevada. The workshops will be held Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Reno at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Reno Sparks, and Wednesday, Aug. 20, in Henderson at the Residence Inn Las Vegas Henderson/Green Valley.
These workshops are designed to educate shop owners and technicians about the availability of service information to automotive repair shops. The educational agenda includes discussions on computers and Internet resources needed to access service information; manufacturer and third-party Web sites; diagnostic tools that may assist in handling a repair most efficiently; and the role of the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF).
Attendees are eligible to participate in drawings for training videos and subscriptions to OEM service information Web sites.
