Car-O-Liner to Sponsor WorldSkills Calgary 2009 Autobody Repair Competition

WorldSkills Calgary 2009 announced that Car-O-Liner Company, a manufacturer of collision repair equipment, is a Founding Equipment Partner for the 40th WorldSkills Competition – an international event for young professionals and students learning skilled trades slated for Sept. 1-6, 2009. As the WorldSkills autobody repair competition’s sponsor, Car-O-Liner will be providing a cross-section of equipment at the competition.

“At Car-O-Liner and its Car-O-Liner Academy, there’s constant dedication to working closely with education to ensure proper training is provided to everyone in the collision repair industry, and it’s really important to start at the entry level,” said Timothy Morgan, Car-O-Liner’s global director of technical training.

The autobody repair competition falls under the Transportation and Logistics skills category, one of six categories encompassing 48 different skills competitions. About 1,000 competitors from 50 countries will compete at next year’s WorldSkills event.
