CARSTAR Announces Staff Promotions, Restructuring of Field Services and Marketing Support

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts announced that is promoting a number of team members and restructuring how it provides field services and marketing support for its more than 250 franchisees throughout the United States to meet the needs of the expanding CARSTAR network.

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts announced that is promoting a number of team members and restructuring how it provides field services and marketing support for its more than 250 franchisees throughout the United States to meet the needs of the expanding CARSTAR network.

CARSTAR says the moves are designed to create a foundation for growth for the nation’s largest auto body repair MSO, drive performance and results throughout the organization and more effectively allocate resources to serve the growing CARSTAR network.

The field service team is being strengthened, and several long-time team members are being promoted to provide expanded services to CARSTAR franchisees. Rick Miller has been named director of operations and will be responsible for servicing the multi-unit CARSTAR operations, developing operational tools, working with key vendors on operational efficiencies and guiding the development of production focus groups. He will continue to report to Stacy Bartnik, VP of operations.

Dale Hastings and Melissa Miller have been promoted to senior operations managers and will oversee the regional sales managers around the country. They, too, will report to Bartnik.

CARSTAR says it’s also doubling its business development team as it prepares to add a significant number of stores in the year ahead.

In addition, CARSTAR is reorganizing its marketing resources. The position of AVP of marketing, held by Bill Garoutte, will be eliminated. Melissa Stevens, brand manager, will take interim responsibility for corporate marketing and branding programs. Tim Jackson, regional marketing manager – West, will take interim responsibility for field marketing programs.

"We have tremendous growth opportunities ahead, and we are structuring the CARSTAR organization to prepare to meet the needs of our expanding franchisee network," said David Byers, CEO of CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts. "We are proud to promote several team members to better leverage the great work they have been doing to more effectively serve our franchise network. And we’re excited to double our business development team to capitalize on the growth potential in the auto body repair marketplace."
