CARSTAR Promotes Two Long-Time Members of Leadership Team

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts announced the promotion of two long-time CARSTAR executives. Stacy Bartnik has been promoted to vice president of Field Services and William Ramirez has been promoted to assistant vice president of HR and Administration.

Bartnik will continue to oversee field services for the nearly 250 stores in the U.S. franchise system. Her new responsibilities will include re-defining field service to focus more heavily on a higher level of financial and operational performance. She also will take a more primary role in renewals of existing CARSTAR franchisees.

She is the current president of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) and the former chair of the Collision Industry Conference (CIC), a forum for discussion of issues affecting the various segments involved in the collision repair industry. Bartnik also is involved in the Board of Trustees for the Collision Industry Education Foundation; the Automotive Service Association (ASA), Collision Division; as a Skills USA judge; and is a past SCRS Board Member. Most recently, Bartnik was inducted into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles.

Ramirez’s responsibilities will expand to include more involvement with CARSTAR’s Advisory Board, managing the annual franchisee Summit meeting, and overseeing the annual CARSTAR Franchisee Conference. His main focus will be on workforce planning and executive team development.

He is Development Dimensions International (DDI) certified, holds a Ruth C. Clark Instructional Systems Design certificate and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

“We are proud to promote these two dedicated individuals and continue strengthening our leadership team to serve our customers — the franchisees,” said David Byers, recently named CEO of CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts. “Both Stacy and Willie have been exceptional members of our corporate team and it is terrific to be able to recognize their efforts with these promotions and new responsibilities.”
