CCC Defines Vision for the Road Ahead

CCC Information Services Inc. is defining its vision and direction through the three areas that matter most to customers: Insight, Collaboration and Convergence.

The company’s comprehensive data analytics, based on more than 30 million historical claims, provide the “insight” to its insurance and collision repair customers to help them make the best business decisions. Greater “collaboration” through the industry’s largest auto claims network creates more choice and flexibility for customers. In addition, the company’s unique “convergence” to a single platform eliminates the fundamental flaws of separate applications and delivers significant gains in efficiency and accuracy.

“Our customers have come to expect a lot from the proven market leader,” said Debbie Day, senior vice president of Marketing and Product Management at CCC Information Services Inc. “We are now bringing to market more innovative solutions than at any time in our history, representing the output of years of significant investment and development. It’s what our customers want, and it’s what we’re delivering.”

One of the newest examples of these innovative offerings is CCC Valuescope Salvage Management Solution, which provides clients the insight they need to make an improved repair vs. total loss decision. Traditionally, when examining a damaged vehicle, a field appraiser had to assemble many pieces of disconnected information. Through a convergent application, field appraisers can now make – on one screen – an optimized total vs. repair decision. CCC connects the key decision elements, which are then automatically calculated and compared. Never before has this insight been placed at the fingertips of the appraiser during the estimating process.

“The Salvage solution is the first of a number of products we are rolling out in 2009 that demonstrates CCC’s continued commitment and focus on delivering value,” said CCC Chairman and CEO Githesh Ramamurthy. “Across the company, we are moving forward with the confidence of knowing that we are working on what matters most to our customers: proven solutions that provide Insight, Collaboration and Convergence.”
