The recently formed Connecticut Collision Repair Specialists (CCRS) has joined the efforts of DoSomething101, a teen-led, nationwide campaign to collect new school supplies for children in need. Association members received DoSomething 101 collection boxes at a recent association meeting.
“It’s time to make a difference in our communities, and we are ready to step up and give back,” CCRS Executive Director Lisa Siembab said.
Customers can drop off new supplies at any CCRS member collision repair shop now through Aug. 31. CCRS members will deliver to Staples Office Supplies, a national sponsor of DoSomething101.
All donations must be new. Supplies needed are pens, No. 2 pencils, backpacks, spiral notebooks, calculators, notebook paper, colored pencils, 3-ring binders and book covers.
