Collision Industry Foundation Welcomes New Board Members

Jim Muse, vice president of business development for FinishMaster, Inc., and Chuck Mayne, OEM manager – the Americas for AkzoNobel Car Refinishes, have been elected to the board of trustees of the Collision Industry Foundation (CIF).

“We’re pleased to welcome Jim and Chuck to the board. Both men come from companies that promote a culture of ‘giving back’ in the collision industry and the larger community. They’re an invaluable addition to our current team of dedicated trustees,” said Jeanne Silver, co-owner of CARSTAR Mundelein and CIF chairperson.

The CIF is a 501(c)3 charitable foundation dedicated to raising, managing and donating funds while fulfilling the philanthropic goals and needs of the collision industry and the communities they serve.

The foundation was established in 2001 to allow for tax-deductible contributions for the National Auto Body Council (NABC) sponsored Camp Mak-A-Dream Children’s Hospital project and has subsequently been instrumental in several other collision industry charitable projects.
