Create Scan Reports with Autel MaxiSYS Diagnostic Tool

Autel has added a new pre-scan and post-scan report feature to its MaxiSYS MS906TS tablet.

Autel has added a new pre-scan and post-scan report feature to its MaxiSYS MS906TS tablet.

With the new software, body shops can easily create vehicle repair reports for insurance carrier approval, according to Autel.

“Wirelessly scan the vehicle and attach images to the vehicle report, then email or print your reports all on one affordable tablet to provide greater profit from every estimate,” Autel said in a news release. “In five easy steps, you can test all modules in all vehicle systems, send out the report, repair the vehicle with greater ease and predictability, re-scan and complete the repair all in-house.”

The MaxiSys MS906TS is designed to provide comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and analysis along with universal TPMS solutions.

TEXA customers can now activate their AutoAuth account to easily unlock the SGW module on 2017+ Chrysler and Fiat vehicles.

The SGW acts as a firewall to block unauthorized access and manipulation of vehicle networks and vital systems. FCA says the SGW was developed not to restrict access to diagnostic data but rather to restrict “the ability of non-registered and non-authenticated users to perform intrusive diagnostics such as bi-directional controls.”  Beyond the prevention of bi-directional capability, which include calibrations, relearns and actuations, even the simple act of clearing a code is denied. TEXA previously provided an internal software paid service for SGA access, now migrating to the easier-to-manage AutoAuth authentication service.
