Fix Auto USA Raises $25,000 for Project HOPE School at Charity Invitational Golf Tournament

Fix Auto USA held the Fix Auto Charity Invitational Golf Tournament at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, Calif., on May 18, 2011. More than 100 participants from the auto repair, dealership and insurance industries raised more than $25,000 for Project HOPE School, a public school created to help educate homeless youth living in Orange County, Calif.

Golfers participated in a variety of contests throughout the day, including long drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin, putting and hole-in-one. Following the tournament, participants attended an awards dinner that included an auction and raffle.

“Thanks to the generous support of our platinum sponsors – DuPont Performance Coatings, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and 3M – in addition to all of the event sponsors and participants, we were able to raise a lot of money for a very good cause,” said Fix Auto Director of Marketing Liz Stein. “It’s rewarding to know that the money raised will go directly back to the communities we work in and serve.”

Added Pam Allison, executive director of the Project HOPE School Foundation, “Fix Auto has been a faithful supporter of Project HOPE School for many years, and we appreciate tremendously that they chose us as the benefitting charity of their May golf tournament. We’re so grateful for the $25,000 raised during the event. It will help support essential programs and services at the school.”

Individuals and companies interested in getting involved with Fix Auto charity events or the Project HOPE School should contact Liz Stein at (714) 279-2027 or [email protected].
