Florida’s Auto Angels Revving Up Car Giveaway Program

Participants of this year’s Auto Angels Vehicle Giveaway program met recently to compare notes in anticipation of the annual Christmas celebration bestowment of several reconditioned vehicles to aid local families in getting a hand-up.

This year’s program Chairman David Stewart of Stewart’s Auto Repair in Winter Haven, Fla., said, “We’re excited as to what this year offers. Last year was a great success, and people are still talking about what a blessing it was to both the recipients as well as those who were responsible for making it happen. This year we’ve enjoined the local chapter of FACA (Florida Autobody Collision Alliance) with the intent is to make it even bigger with a goal of presenting up to 15 vehicles.”

The meeting was to discuss recent and upcoming local radio spots (1430 AM and others) as well as local news and publication interviews, the specific date and location for this year’s presentations and additional ideas for donor vehicles.

Attendees at the planning lunch meeting included: Doc Jenkins (Jenkins Lincoln Mercury), Barrett Smith (Auto Damage Experts), David Stewart (Stewart’s Auto Repair), Nick McLeisch (Maurice Auto) Cherri Surrency (Gunder’s Auto Center) and Ray Gunder (Gunder’s Auto Center).
