I-CAR Education Foundation and CCC Offer Student Scholarships

Originally introduced as the CCC Outstanding Student Technician Scholarship in 2006, CCC Information Services, in conjunction with the I-CAR Education Foundation, is again offering the CCC Michael Salvatore Memorial Student Repair Technician Scholarship Program. The scholarship was renamed in 2007 to honor longtime CCC team member Michael Salvatore.

The CCC Michael Salvatore Memorial Student Repair Technician Scholarship Program will award scholarships to students currently enrolled at five schools, and has a combined value of $25,000. Schools participating in the CCC Outstanding Student Technician Scholarship program were selected based on criteria that include ASE certification, curriculum and geographic location.

The participating schools are Bridgerland Applied Technology College, Logan, Utah; Fox Valley Technical College, Appleton, Wis.; Nashville Auto-Diesel College, Nashville, Tenn.; Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa.; and Universal Technical Institute, Houston, Texas. All five eligible schools receive a letter and student application for this scholarship. Applications are now being accepted and recipients will be announced in May.
