Industry Veteran Scott Shriber Named Publisher of BodyShop Business Magazine

Scott Shriber has been named publisher of BodyShop Business, a Babcox publication serving the collision repair industry. Shriber begins his new role as publisher on Monday, Aug. 25.

“We look forward to the unique and in-depth industry insights Scott brings to his role as publisher of BodyShop Business,” said Bill Babcox, president of Babcox Publications. “Having grown up in his family’s jobber business, in addition to more than 30 years of professional experience in the OE and aftermarket segments, Scott has a wealth of automotive expertise to offer our organization.”

Prior to joining Babcox, Shriber was national sales manager for OEConnection, a provider of online buying, selling and analysis of original equipment parts. Before that he spent 28 years with Ford Motor Co. in a number of positions of increasing responsibility. Much of Shriber’s time at Ford centered around the Motorcraft brand, where he started out in field sales and eventually moved on to such positions as technical service manager, independent channel manager and parts and service marketing manager. His Ford career culminated with his most recent position of marketing communications manager for Blue Diamond Parts LLC, a joint venture between Ford and International Truck and Engine Co.

“My prior experience at OEConnection, launching Collision Link into the collision repair segment, along with my many years working with the Motorcraft brand will lend themselves perfectly to my new role here at Babcox,” said Shriber. “I feel very fortunate to be able to take on this new challenge and continue to work in this wonderful industry in which I have not only been involved in my entire career, but my entire life.”

Scott can be reached at 330-670-1234 ext. 229 or via email at [email protected].
