Keenan Auto Body Raises $23,850 for Little Smiles Philadelphia

Keenan Auto Body Vice President and COO Michael LeVasseur announced the successful outcome of Keenan’s 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing held at Penn Oaks Golf Club on June 9.

“I’m very pleased to announce that we have raised a respectable amount of $23,850 for Little Smiles Philadelphia, an all-volunteer organization,” LeVasseur said.

Added Craig Camacho, Keenan’s marketing director, "Deciding what charity would be the best fit for this year’s outing was a no-brainer. The folks who drive the charity are amazing. They all have jobs and careers but somehow find the time to bring smiles to the faces of children throughout Philadelphia. It has already been decided that Little Smiles will be the benefactor for Keenan’s 2012 charity golf outing set for Thursday, June 7."

Keenan’s has raised close to $225,000 in the last 13 years for charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Camp Make-A-Dream Foundation, Delaware County Children and Youth Services, The Papa Pandeli Fund, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Russella Educational Fund and this year’s charity, Little Smiles Philadelphia.

“Without the support of our industry partners, events like these would not be possible," said Camacho. “I want to personally and sincerely thank everyone who played a part in this year’s outing. For the golfers, it was a very hot day with temperatures over 100 degrees and high humidity but our loyal crowd persevered. For our sponsors, their consistent loyalty by generously supporting our charities is incredible even in a down economy."
