Carl’s Collision Center of Fall River, Mass., with the help of ChemSpec USA and Allstate, restored a vehicle for the National Auto Body Council (NABC) Recycled Rides program, providing the Massachusetts Chapter of Council on Aging with a much-needed refurbished minivan.
With not a seat left in the room, the vehicle presentation was attended by Massachusetts elected officials and business leaders, including: State Sen. Joan Menard, State Rep. Kevin Aguiar, Carl’s Collision Center co-owner Carl Garcia, NABC Executive Director Chuck Sulkala, as well as all the Fall River city council members, mayor and mayor-elect.
Though many of the Recycled Rides are designated for needy families, this one went to the Fall River Council on Aging.
“No one will be happier than I to take our oldest vehicle off the road and replace it with this newly refurbished 2001 Chrysler Voyager minivan,” said Pauline D. Gousie, associate director for the chapter. “This endeavor was truly a collaborative one, combining the efforts of Allstate Insurance, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, John’s Auto Service of Fall River, ChemSpec USA and Carl’s Collision Center.”
