Matrix System Appoints New Vice President/General Manager

Matrix System Automotive Finishes announced the appointment of David Brunori to the position of vice president and general manager.

For nearly 28 years, Brunori has worked in the vehicle refinish industry, where he began his career from the ground up. He started in the paint manufacturing industry as a chemist, developing formulas and products. For more than 15 years with Matrix System, Brunori has held a variety of positions, from internal operations to more recently business unit manager.

Brunori earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry in 1992, and most recently completed a graduate program in 2006.

“Having worked in many different departments has given me a better perspective on what is required and expected of each individual. Communication and teamwork seem to be the key to the business’ success,” Brunori said. We need to have everyone on the same page in order for Matrix System to keep growing, this is the key to executing a strategy.”

In his new role, Brunori will be responsible for the P/L performance of the entire organization.

He added that “my experience in product development and operational activities, and most recently sales and marketing, offer a unique perspective on managing our business. The vehicle refinish market is where I operate the best, I love the challenges that this unique market has to offer.”

“We believe there is no one more qualified nor possessing a more intimate knowledge of the operations of the business than Dave,” said Fred Quinn, CEO Quest Specialty Chemicals.
