Nagy’s Collision Centers Selects Axalta as Coatings Supplier

Nagy’s Collision Centers announced that the Ohio MSO has selected Axalta Coating Systems as its coatings supplier.

Nagy’s Collision Centers announced that the Ohio MSO has selected Axalta Coating Systems as its coatings supplier.

Axalta began installing Spies Hecker waterborne paint technology in all of the Nagy’s locations on Jan. 2.

“We selected Axalta Coating Systems because, after extensive testing and consideration, we learned that Axalta’s Spies Hecker paint line offers superior productivity and final finish whether it be single-stage, basecoat, tri-stage or quad-stage,” said Ron Nagy, president of Nagy’s Collision Centers.

Another selling point was Axalta’s offering of e-learning modules, onsite product training, remote virtual training – with video review of painter application technique – and learning centers for product and color training, according to the MSO.

“Axalta and Nagy’s are currently working to develop unique video learning modules to refine processes and product quality to drive Nagy’s Collision Centers to the next level,” Nagy’s added in a news release.

Nagy’s has 13 locations across Northeast Ohio, including Nagy’s Pro Touch and Nagy’s Power Sports.
