Making his debut as a car designer and builder, NASCAR crew chief Ray Evernham will unveil his latest creation during a press conference at this year’s SEMA show at the Sherwin-Williams Automotive booth 10831 in the Collision Repair & Refinish section. The conference will take place Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 10:30 a.m. PDT.
The vehicle combines old school, American style with modern NASCAR racing technology and features exterior colors all from the new Sherwin-Williams Barrett-Jackson Restoration Kit, available exclusively at Pep Boys.
Joining Evernham will be Gary Bennett, vice president of consignment for Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction. According to the company, Barrett-Jackson produces "The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions" in Scottsdale, Ariz.; Palm Beach, Fla.; Las Vegas; and Orange County, Calif.
Following the show, Evernham will present the car for auction at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction in January. All net proceeds will go to a special charity, which will be announced at the conference.
