Sterling Autobody a wholly owned subsidiary of Allstate Non-Insurance Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation announced that Nick Notte has been named president of Sterling Autobody Centers. As president, Notte will be responsible for overseeing operations for Sterling’s network of 60 autobody stores in 16 states and eight metropolitan locations. Notte replaces Sterling President Allan Robinson who has been promoted to assistant vice president Encompass Insurance.
Notte brings over 25 years experience to his new role as president of Sterling Autobody. He previously served as director of auto process mastery/development at Allstate before holding various management positions in the company’s claims department and Priority Repair Option (PRO) program.
“We are pleased to have Nick assume this leadership opportunity at Sterling Autobody,” said Bill Daly, Allstate auto assistant vice president. “He brings a broad wealth of knowledge to Sterling and his strong leadership, initiative and auto product knowledge will further Sterling’s position within the marketplace.”
A respected authority in the collision repair industry, Notte has served as chairman of the board for I-CAR, as secretary and treasurer for the Certified Auto Parts Association (CAPA), as a board member for the Collision Technician Apprentice Program (CTAP), as a sub-committee member for the National Association of Independent Insurers (NAII), on the auto physical damage sub-committee for the Insurance Services Organization (ISO), and he currently serves on the board of directors for the National Auto Body Council (NABC).
