Ninth Annual I-CAR Ed. Foundation Golf Tournament Sold Out

For the first time, the I-CAR Education Foundation’s annual golf tournament fundraiser has sold out weeks in advance of the July 22 event taking place in the Chicagoland area during the Collision Industry Conference (CIC)/industry meetings. In addition to selling out the 144 golf tournament registration spots, the event is also on track to be the highest grossing golf tournament fundraiser in the foundation’s history.

There will be $15,000 in donated prizes and giveaways for the attendees in addition to one stand-alone silent auction item featured during the event. Barrett-Jackson has donated a VIP package for two for the Jan. 17-23, 2011 Scottsdale collector car event, which brings together hundreds of thousands of car enthusiasts. The package has an estimated value of $2,000 and includes two VIP guest credentials valid throughout the event, two invitations to the Opening Night Gala and access to reserved seating and hosted bar and to all VIP amenities.

"The Foundation is overwhelmed with the support we have received regarding our annual golf tournament fundraiser," said I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger. "The tournament will be one to remember, as not only will attendees enjoy 18 holes at the AAA Four Diamond award-winning Eaglewood Golf Resort but also a one-of-a-kind post tournament networking reception at TopGolf, one of only three facilities in the country."

"The I-CAR Education Foundation is extremely proud that this year’s golf fundraiser is being hosted in our home city," said Education Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Doug Webb. "I think you’ll find that the staff has done an outstanding job of lining up premiere golf venues. You are in for a treat whether you are a part of our 18 hole tournament or will be joining us at the TopGolf venue for food, refreshments and networking after the tournament. This sold out event promises to be the best I-CAR Education Foundation golf tournament ever. I look forward to seeing all of you there!"
