Painters Supply & Equipment Co. Names New President

Painters Supply & Equipment Co. (PSE) announced the promotion of Patrick D. Mayette to the position of President, effective April 12. Mayette has served as vice president of sales and marketing at PSE since March 2009 and joined the company in May 2007 as director of sales and marketing.

While employed by PSE, Mayette has been instrumental in the reorganization and restructuring of the sales force, focused on delivering value-added programs. His leadership of the PPG Platinum Program has driven market share growth via new strategic customers for PSE and PPG.

Prior to joining PSE, Mayette spent 14 years at Motorola Inc., where he managed both North America and global sales programs for Motorola’s automotive OEM and aftermarket businesses. Prior to Motorola, Mayette held sales, marketing and manufacturing positions at Ford Motor Company. Mayette earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Saginaw Valley State University in 1990 and his master’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University in 1999.
