PPG Names Single Source Platinum Distributor of the Year

PPG honored Single Source, Inc. with its Platinum Distributor of the Year Award at the annual PPG Platinum Distributor Conference held recently at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas.

PPG presents the award each year to the Platinum Distributor that has shown consistent sales growth, maintained Platinum Plus status and utilized the Platinum Program’s broad scope of offerings. The company initiated the Platinum Program in 1995 as a support mechanism and loyalty program for PPG single-line distributors, with the ultimate goal of providing exceptional service and benefits for PPG refinish customers.

John Leavy, director of the PPG Platinum Program, presented the award to Bill Werkheiser, founder and president of Single Source, and a group of 20 of the company’s regional sales managers attending the gala awards banquet.

Werkheiser and the recently retired Nick Belizzi established Single Source in May 1995 in Roswell, Ga. Werkheiser and Mike Strawn, vice president of sales, each have more than 23 years in the business and have helped the company grow to 17 locations across the country. The company has more than 165 employees, 80 of whom attended the conference.
