Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced its 2016 fourth quarter training schedule, with courses running from October 10th to December 12th, 2016. Courses will help provide training in the latest technologies, information and procedures to create successful outcomes for collision repair industry professionals.
Participants will learn through a combination of classroom, web and hands-on settings at Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes training centers nationwide. Shop owners, managers, and painters can choose to advance their business-building, production-excellence and application techniques.
The following courses will be offered during the fourth quarter:
- Painter Certification
- Fleet CFR
- Color Adjustment and Blending
- Estimating Solutions for Profit
- ATX Refinish System Painter Certification
- AWX Performance Plus Waterborne Painter Certification
“Sherwin-Williams is more than just great paint. We provide value-added services, such as shop impact assessments, lean workshops, and training courses to make sure those in the industry are equipped and up-to-date on the latest practices and products,” said Rod Habel, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes director of training operations.
A good example, notes Habel, is the increase in training courses requested on the company’s fast-drying, easy-to-mix and apply AWX Performance Plus waterborne system. This system provides excellent color match, quick flash time between coats and doesn’t require a baking cycle.
