A deer struck by an oncoming car turned into a missile for a Minnesota family, entering their car through the windshield, striking all three family members inside and exiting through the rear window on Nov. 6. The family, heading out for pizza, suffered some broken bones and bruises, but all survived the strange encounter, KARE-TV reported.
"It came right through the windshield and actually T-boned me in the face," Chris Blake, who was the driving the vehicle, told the TV station.
Next, the deer bounced off Chris’s wife Sue before striking their 17-year-old daughter Olivia in the backseat. Finally, the deer exited the vehicle through the rear window.
State Trooper Mark Fahning, who investigated the crash, said it’s the first time he’s seen a deer fly all the way through a car.
Saturday was the first day of Minnesota’s deer-hunting season.
