The Sign Says: Laugh. Violators Will Be Fined

Road signs have become so abundant that we often don't really notice them.

Everywhere we drive, road signs have been erected to tell us what to do (Speed Limit 35), what not to do (No Passing) and to warn us of coming road conditions (Construction Zone 2 Miles Ahead), which will immediately cause a panic and result in a traffic jam.

Though the intentions behind erecting roads signs was a good one, though somewhat condescending – “We need to protect people from themselves.” – road signs have become so abundant that we often don’t really notice them. We’ve become so accustomed to seeing them that they sometimes blend into the background. (And then there are people who choose to ignore road signs altogether – “Why should I stop? No one is coming, and it’s hard on the old Chevette to keep stopping and starting.” – which is good for your shop, bad for such drivers’ auto insurance rates.

But every once in a while, a road sign is too original to be ignored – even by the most tainted of drivers.
