Bridgerland Applied Technology College of Logan, Utah, was named the recipient of the 2010 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant from the Collision Repair Education Foundation. As the 2010 Makeover winning school, Bridgerland Applied Technology College will have their $50,000 wish list fulfilled to make over their auto collision program through the foundation and industry supporters.
The Collision Repair Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that offers grants and scholarships to automotive collision career and technical schools and colleges and to students attending these schools. The foundation works toward supporting a nationwide network of 1,300 automotive collision schools (roughly 80,000 students nationwide) through industry donors and supporters. In 2009, the foundation, with the help of our industry partners, provided $1.7 million in support to this group in the form of student scholarships, tool/equipment grants, and school supply grants.
