Winner of SEMA Show/RDE Giveaway Announced

Tim McPherson of McPherson Collision in Holbrook, Ariz.,
was randomly chosen as the winner of the SEMA Show and Repairer Driven
Education (RDE) Giveaway presented by the Society of Collision Repair
Specialists and BodyShop Business.

As the winner, McPherson will go to the SEMA Show Nov. 1-4
in Las Vegas and be treated to the following:

• 1 four-day floor pass to the SEMA Show
• 1 full series pass to all 4 days of SCRS’s RDE
• 1 pass to the RDE headline presentation by Afterburner,
Inc.
• 1 exclusive invitation for one to the SCRS Afterburner
Afterparty in the Las Vegas Hilton Sky Villas
• 1 $250 Visa gift card
• 2 nights of hotel during the SEMA Show

When McPherson received the call informing him of his win,
he was intially skeptical, thinking it was a scam. The reason is because his
wife had signed him up for the contest without telling him!

"I’m pretty excited about it," said McPherson.
"I’ve never been to the SEMA Show. From what I understand, there are a lot
of educational opportunities available. Being isolated in a small town like we
are, it’s hard to get out and see all the new products and techniques shops are
using today."

McPherson plans on bringing one of his young technicians
to share in the sights and sounds of Vegas. The technician is still an
apprentice, and McPherson figures bringing him to the SEMA Show will keep him
excited about his future in the collision repair industry.

"We’re all very excited for Tim McPherson and his
staff members to join us in just a few short weeks in Las Vegas for the SEMA
Show and Repairer Driven Education," said SCRS Executive Director Aaron
Schulenburg. "It means everything to SCRS to have the support and
participation from the repair facilities we represent, and we’re so pleased to
have been able to partner with BodyShop Business and SEMA to provide such a
comprehensive opportunity for a shop to experience all the show has to
offer."
