Choice Autobody Repair Association Establishes Southwest Michigan Chapter

Association promotes consumers' awareness of their individual rights when dealing with insurers and body shops.

Choice Autobody Repair Association (CARA), which promotes consumers’ awareness of their individual rights when dealing with insurance companies and automotive repair shops, has announced the formation of its Southwest Michigan chapter.

Rick Finney, president of CARA, recently met with area shop owners and managers in Battle Creek, Mich., to discuss the benefits the association provides to its members. Chuck Gosney from Collision Billing Services also explained the services his company has offered the association.

"By forming a chapter of CARA, we can hit the ground running as we have the help of an established association to get us headed in the right direction," said Titia Gray of Brad Gray’s Auto Body. "That, combined with their associate and corporate members, makes a good fit for us."

Gray was selected to preside over the next meeting, which will be held Thursday, Sept. 19.
