State Farm Donates $70,000 to Collision Repair Education Foundation

Insurance company's lifetime contribution to foundation now more than $1 million.

State Farm Insurance Company has made a $70,000 contribution to the Collision Repair Education Foundation, pushing its total lifetime contributions to the Collision Repair Education Foundation to more than $1 million.

The $70,000 contribution from State Farm will support the Foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which allows the foundation to provide its annual student scholarships, school grants and the annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant.

“State Farm’s support of collision repair education is consistent with our long-term commitment to education overall,” said State Farm Claims Director Russ Hoffbauer. “Collision repair education is very important to State Farm and to our customers. As technology in the automotive industry changes rapidly, it is critical to have students entering the field and learning the latest repair methods to be able to provide remarkable service to our customers.”

Added Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski, “On behalf of the Collision Repair Education Foundation and the collision students and instructors we support, I would like to thank State Farm for their donation. The fact that they have surpassed $1 million throughout the Education Foundation’s lifetime shows a true testament to the company’s support of the collision industry’s future. It is only through industry supporters such as State Farm that the foundation is able to assist so many of the future professionals of the collision industry.”
